Who are our clients?

Audit Clients – need help immediately due to an upcoming audit.

New audit clients may not know what to expect during an audit and may want to discuss the process. Some clients have opted for us to represent them during the audit. We can advise concerning what to do and what not to do when being audited.

Clients that previously have been audited and are seeking our services for a current audit, may want to request our services to help reduce any current liability.

Clients may be unfamiliar with our services; therefore, we explain to them that as they would not go to court without a lawyer, or through an IRS audit without a CPA, they should have representation for their State tax audit.

Compliance Clients – organizations that would like to ensure they are current on all State tax issues and payments.

If management recognizes that the organization is not handling its tax responsibilities correctly, they will need our assistance to ensure that the organization is current and compliant with State tax law. An executive may believe that their accountant can provide this service, but most CPA firms usually don’t have State tax specialists on staff.

Seminar Clients – this is related to compliance clients but on a broader scale. Seminar clients could be a new or established organization but they would like a review of how the State tax laws pertain to their business in a less formal setting. The State offers seminars but because they are not industry specific answers to questions are not relevant to all attendees. Seminar clients usually enroll in a State tax seminar thinking that the class will answer all of the questions related to their industry, but it does not.
